Who are the Japanese?

In a few hours I will be heading off to the land of the rising sun. Who knows what new friends, insane jetlag, and strange foods await me? All I know is that where America is an oversized and spacious country, Japan is compact and crowded. I’m expecting to smack my head on something, get laughed at, and eat something I wish I hadn’t at least once. Actually, I’m sure I’ll get laughed at a lot. That’s ok. It’ll be good for my ego. I’ll try to post some photos for you all while I’m there.
